“I was amazed that I could hear my son talking to me when he was in the basement and I was at the top of the stairs,” she says.

Susan understands conversations while wearing them skiing, at hockey games, in a theatre, and in a busy mall. She also likes that she rarely has to adjust the volume and how durable the battery doors are compared to her previous hearing instruments.

Susan's friend has noticed a difference in her ability to hear speech, and her son is realizing he does not have to speak as loudly as he is accustomed.

“It really is a difference between night and day. Even the sounds of birds outside are clearer and sound closer to me.”
