Mildred McKerroll began wearing analog hearing aids about 20 years ago. She had heard about digital hearing aids, but never tried them. Then she tried Unison™ 6 digital hearing aids.
Mildred found listening “wonderful” again. The Unison 6 hearing aids were natural sounding and comfortable.
“Sometimes I would forget that I had them on,” she explains.

Mildred enjoyed the different programs designed to help her hear better in various listening situations. She found the program, specifically designed for reducing background noise, very helpful. At family gatherings she could hear conversations more easily, and did not have to strain to her the voices of her young grandchildren.
Mildred's Unison 6 hearing aids also had a program designed specifically for listening in the car. On car trips, she could hear conversations more much effectively and was not bothered by sounds she did not wish to hear, such as the sound of the car's engine or tires.

In a large, busy environment, Mildred could “hear conversations in a more natural manner” and found the experience “much nicer”. She did not experience large, sudden bursts of sound when listening in noise. At home, she did not have to turn the television volume up as high, making it more comfortable for others.
Mildred would recommend Unison 6 hearing aids to others because of their clear sound and how they reduce background noise, so she can hear conversations.
“It is so nice not having to say ‘pardon me' or ‘tell me again'. It is a nice change to hear oneself so easily.”
